Your Swingin' Week Schedule

  • Monday afternoon: registration, welcome dinner & entertainment.
  • Tues. - Fri.: AM & PM classes / workshops / ensembles.
  • Nightly jam sessions out on the porch.
  • Friday: Finale performance party!
  • Adios breakfast on Saturday.

Limited to students of fiddle, guitar, bass and mandolin.
Elementary through advanced level.
No beginning instruction.

WE'VE FOUND A GREAT LOCATION!
SMU(Swing Musicians Unite!) in Taos at Fort Burgwin.

A rustic compound on 300 acre campus with lodging, dining hall & auditorium. Elevation 7400' in a valley of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, 10 miles south of Taos, NM on HWY 518. Nearest major airport is Albuquerque, a 2 and a half hour drive.

COST

Prices are quoted less applicable taxes. Our receipt of your $250 deposit (check or money order in U.S. funds) will confirm your place. Balance due by May 20, 2008. Written cancellation postmarked by May 20 gets refund of deposit less $25 handling. Cancellation after May 20 forfeits deposit.

Full Camp Package
Tuition & Lodging & 3 Meals - Add $345
Includes 5 nights - MON through FRI - lodging
15 meals -Dinner on MON through lunch on SAT. Space is limited.
Get to know fellow musicians around the fireplace in your hostel/dormitory
style casita nestled in the woods on campus. Walking distance to all activities.
Bring your linens for a bunk, or rent linens for $20.
Each morning food is provided for you to pack a lunch.
Enjoy your picnic on the grounds or along a nature trail beside a running river!
